Introduction.

The Central Coast Malibu Boardriders Club (CCMB) organises and runs the two largest longboarding surf competitions on the Central Coast of NSW. Both contests are open to all and attract over 150 of the best longboard surfers in Australia.
With 11 divisions from under 18 to over 60 in age including Women’s, Open 9’, Open 8’ and Old Malibu (pre-1968 boards) divisions.

• The Magoo Charity Classic (May 2009) is an event that stands by itself in the history of surfing. Over the last 10 years the event has raised a staggering $158,000 for cancer research and care. In 2009, Barry 'Magoo' McGuigan turns 80 and we want to surprise him with one of the BIGGEST charity surf contests in Australia.

• The CCMB Open Contest is run in November 2008 and is the longest running Longboard Contest on the Central Coast.

The Magoo Charity Classic and Central Coast Open longboard events cater for surfers of all ages and abilities. Starting on the Saturday with finals run on the Sunday the event celebrates fun, friendship, family and surfing catering for all ages.

1. Silver Sponsor – Cash or Goods* value $200 to $500:

• Company name on the contestant T-Shirt
• Business name announced throughout the event

2. Gold Sponsor - Cash or Goods* greater than $500:

• Company Logo printed on Contest T-Shirt
• Banners (if supplied) will be erected at the contest site
• Company products can be displayed at the contest site

The Central Coast Malibu Boardriders have been celebrating the love of surfing traditional and modern longboards since 1985. For 23 years the club has evolved to become one of the most respected longboard Clubs in Australia. The club has hosted many major events including the Australian Titles in 199?, Hogg's Breath Café Pro-Am 2000 –2001, Central Coast Open since 1990 and the Magoo charity Classic since 1997.The Club is made up of members from all over the Central Coast, from Copacabana Beach to Soldiers Beach at Norah Heads.
